TERMS OF SERVICE

By filling out registration form you (hereafter - User) confirm that you are 18 years old or older.

By filling out this registration form, the User is simultaneously registering a user account (hereafter – Account) for three portals – gay.lv, gay.lt, lesbi.lv (hereafter – Portals).

Your user name cannot be the name of a company, organisation or brand name, you may not use words which designate services, connections of names and surnames, or the name of a publicly known individual.

You may not register accounts while pretending to be someone else.

In filling out the registration form and questionnaires on other parts of the Portals, User guarantees that the information that is entered is true.

No User shall register accounts with the aim of using the resources of the Portals for commercial activities, the advertising of goods and services, the advertising of events, or the sending out of chain letters.

Portal services, both free and fee-based, are what they are. The service provider (hereafter – Operator) ensures the operations of the Portal and is not obliged to improve or change the Portal if it is dissatisfactory to a User.

The Operator offers no guarantees about the Portal’s operations and undertakes no responsibility for direct or indirect losses caused to the User or a third party as a result of the use of the Portal.

The User shall have the right to cancel the Account at any moment. A cancelled Account cannot be renewed, and money paid for fee-based services shall not be returned. After an Account is cancelled, information about the User (E-mail address, the IP addresses from which connections to the Account have been made) shall be kept in the Operator’s servers for two months.

There are special rules for certain sections of the Portal, and these can be read in the relevant sections. Users are obliged to take these rules into account if they are using the relevant sections. Users who ignore the additional rules shall face the same sanctions as those who fail to obey the Terms of Service.

The Operator is not responsible for information (texts, audio/video files, images) which Users of the Portals post therein.

Each User and each User alone is responsible for information (texts, audio/video files, images) that the User posts on the Portals.

No information that is illegal shall be posted on the Portals in the form of texts, images, audio or video files. Neither shall any information be posted that is protected by copyright and does not belong to the User who is attempting to post it, whether it be text, image, audio or visual file.

While using the Portals’ resources, to User shall curse, use vulgar language, offend, humiliate, scorn or lie about other Users in any way, or post any information in the form of text or file that is offensive, threatening, sacrilegious, mendacious or aimed at hurting another person’s reputation.

No illegal information shall be posted on the Portals in the form of text or file. The Operator shall have the right to submit information to law enforcement institutions about any User who has posted unlawful information in the form of text, image or file on the Portals. The Operator may do so without warning the User.

The Operator shall have the right to inspect any file that is posted by a User on the Portal so as to ascertain that it is in line with the Terms of Service.

The Operator shall have the right to edit or erase from the Portals any information that has been posted by Users – texts, images and video/audio files, doing so without any explanation.

The Operator shall not be responsible for the content of advertising that is posted on the Portals or for the quality of advertised goods or services. Responsibility rests with the advertiser.

The Operator shall not be responsible for the content of Internet resources to which there are links from this Portal.

Portals may contain erotic information in the form of texts, images, audio or video files.

The Operator shall not be responsible for the veracity of information that has been republished from another information source.

The Operator has the right, without warning, to close down any Account if its owner has not connected to the Portal for a period of 90 days.

PRIVACY POLICY

The User may view, change or delete his personal data at any time. It can be done automatically in section "Control Panel" or by contacting Support (sections "Help", "Contacts").

The Operator shall record the IP address of each User of the Portals.

The Operator shall have the right to send cookies to the User’s computer.

The User agrees that files, personal data and other information that the User has posted in registering or filling out any questionnaires shall be available to any Internet user in any country of the world. The User shall permit the Operator to process this information.

The Operator shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect losses that might occur to the User or any third party as a result of the loss or damage of information that is posted by the User on the Portals in the shape of texts or images.

The Operator shall not be held responsible for any situation in which the texts or files of the User end up in the hands of others as a result of theft or server damage.

Information in the form of text or file that is posted by the User on the Portals shall, unless other agreement has been reached, become the automatic property of the Operator without any compensation, and the Operator shall have the right to use the information as the Operator sees fit.

Users shall be banned from collecting any information in the form of texts or files that is available on the Portals if the aim is to transfer it for free or in return for compensation to other persons, to copy it, to disseminate it and/or to sell it.

The Portals are private property, and the Operator reserves the full right to ban access to the Portals and to sections therein to any User without explaining why and doing so for an unlimited period of time.

The Operator shall have the right to erase or deactivate any User’s account on the Portals without explaining why.

The Operator shall have the right to block access to the Portals from any IP address.

The Operator shall have the right to send information to the E-mail addresses of Users which has to do with the operations of the Portal.

CONCLUSION

By registering for access to these Portals, the User confirms that he or she has understood and fully accepts these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The User undertakes not to dispute these and to raise no objection against the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The Operator shall have the right to change or supplement these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy without offering specific information to that effect to Users.

Users shall be responsible for monitoring changes in these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and for closing down their Accounts should they disagree with any part thereof.

The Operator shall block access to the Portals for any User who fails to obey these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
